Online proxy checker

Find out in seconds whether a proxy works: HTTP, HTTPS or SOCKS5, the exit IP, ping and anonymity level. Up to 20 proxies at once, including ones with a username and password.

Accepted: host:port, user:pass@host:port, host:port:user:pass. You can add http://, https:// or socks5:// — otherwise we detect the type.

We don’t store or log your proxies, usernames or passwords. No trackers or analytics.

What the proxy checker tests

Is it alive

We connect to the proxy and make sure a site loads through it.

Protocol

HTTP, HTTPS (CONNECT) or SOCKS5 — detected automatically.

IP and ping

The exit IP websites see and the response time in milliseconds.

Anonymity

Whether the proxy reveals itself or your real IP in headers.

Proxy anonymity test

An HTTP proxy may add headers such as Via or X-Forwarded-For. They tell a website that you came through a proxy and sometimes reveal your real IP. SOCKS5 and HTTPS (CONNECT) are tunnels: the proxy does not touch the headers, so such proxies are always elite.

Elite

The site sees neither the proxy nor your IP.

Anonymous

The site sees a proxy, but your IP is hidden.

Transparent

The site sees your real IP — not suitable for account work.

How to check a proxy with a username and password

Paste proxies the way your shop gave them: user:pass@host:port or host:port:user:pass. Credentials are only used to connect to the proxy and are never returned in the response.

Checking SOCKS5 works the same way: just paste the line, or prefix it with socks5:// to test SOCKS5 only.

FAQ

Do you store my proxies?

No. The list is only used for the check: we don’t store it, log it or share it with anyone. There are no analytics or trackers on this page.

How many proxies can I check?

Up to 20 at a time. The checker is free, so there is a daily limit per IP address — enough for regular use.

Why does a proxy “not work” here but works in my app?

We check from our own server. If the proxy is bound to your IP (whitelist) or the provider blocks third-party connections, the checker cannot reach it. Another reason is a slow answer: each attempt gets about 10 seconds.

Which protocols are supported?

HTTP, HTTPS (CONNECT) and SOCKS5, with or without username and password. SOCKS4 is not supported yet.

Do you show the proxy country?

Not yet — for now the checker shows the exit IP, type, ping and anonymity. Country lookup is coming later.
